We will define key terms, such as discrimination and harassment, and will discuss who is protected by the Code and how you can enforce your rights if you believe you have experienced discrimination. We will focus particularly on for cause evictions; that is for matters involving Landlord applications to terminate the tenancy and evict for illegal acts, substantial interference and impairment of safety. We will discuss Human Rights Code issues raised by tenants during an eviction proceeding at the LTB.
